Fremont Peak Hill Climb



September 20, 2015- San Juan Bautista, California

Registration: Registration will open at 8:00 a.m. at the intersection of San Juan Grade Road and San Juan Canyon Road. One day licenses will be available for purchase for $10.

Directions: From 101 take Highway 156 east towards San Juan Bautista. Take a right at the light (The Alameda). Proceed south and park on the shoulder of San Juan Grade Road just past registration.  


Course: 10 mile hill climb that starts near the intersection of San Juan Grade Road and San Juan Canyon Road and finishes just before the entrance to the state park (at the cattle grate). The first 4 miles are gently graded with moderate to steep grades from mile 4 to 9. There is a short non-technical downhill after false summit with ½ mile of false flat to finish. Centerline rule is in effect the entire course.

Prizes: Custom pint glasses to top 3 in all categories (top 5 in Pro 1/2). Cash prizes (except for E5, Women 4, and Juniors) for categories as listed with a minimum of 5 entrants. Free beer for all men who post a time under 45 minutes (55 minutes for women). Results and prizes to be given at Jardines Restaurant in San Juan Bautista.

How to enter: Online at for fees listed above until September 11. Fees increase to $35 for the period of September 12 to the close of online registration on September 17 at 8:45 pm PST. Refunds will be given until the close of online registration. You can enter on race day for $40. One day licenses will be available. Racing licenses are required for all categories
